    About

    • Module: CMP320
    • Title: Mini Project
    • Grade: B+
    • Overall Module Grade: A

An area I've been interested in for a while has been ransomware. My interest began when the NHS was attacked with the WannaCry ransomware back in 2017. Since then it's always been at the back of my mind. In my second term in third year I had some free time to dedicate to an area I was interested in. For this mini project I chose to finally dive into this area I had been wanting to check out but never really got around to.

    White Paper

My aim for my project was to investigate ransomware as much as I could. To understand: how it works, the types of ransomware, the history and what are we doing to prevent it. The ultimate aim for my report is for the reader to understand the threat ransomware poses, and continues to pose. My finished white paper for the mini project can be read below.

Please DO NOT plagiarise my white paper. You will be caught, it's not worth it.
